The DigitaLab project, funded by the Regional Program PR FESR 2021 - 2027 of the Liguria Region, proposes the study, development and implementation of a new digital management system for business processes, with particular reference to the services provided in the context of laboratory analysis.
Developed through the multi-platform Adiuto, owned by Bluenext Srl (a leading Italian company in the management and digitalisation software sector), DigitaLab is an entirely digital and remotely operable system, which will simplify interactions between the various company operating units (laboratory and technical office and administrative office) guaranteeing full traceability of all process phases and the integrity of the entire documentary component.
The combined action of data analysis, process digitalisation and digital document management guarantees a wide and detailed vision of laboratory activities and therefore optimal management of specialist consultancy, from the beginning to the end of the process, significantly improving the quality of the service provided to customers.

The project aims at studying and adopting approaches which, although common in medium or medium-large industrial contexts, are rarely followed in the field of highly specialized services and activities derived from and strictly related to research.
In quantitative terms we estimate that the adoption of the DigitaLab system can lead to a 15-20% increase in productivity in relation to the provision of analytical services.
