Environmental Monitoring and Analysis

Analytical services and our innovative approaches developed for environmental monitoring, with particular reference to the atmosphere matrix and air quality.

Air Quality Modeling

Mathematical models for statistical and forecasting calculations at different time scales for diagnostic studies and/or environmental impact assessment (dispersion of pollutants into the atmosphere, odour dispersion - odour nuisance). Simulations on continental to regional scale, up to the urban fabric one.

Metereological and Marine Modeling

Numerical meteorological and marine modeling, with simulations of atmospheric dynamics and ocean dynamics (wave motion and marine currents) using state-of-the-art modeling tools. Tailored services, provided on scales ranging from continental to local (down to a hundred meters), both for forecasting purposes and for climatological analysis and/or reconstruction of past events.

Problem Solving and Project Building

Design support and problem solving methodologies and approaches to accompany companies in identifying critical elements and defining intervention strategies for handling problems, from the ordinary to the complex.

About Us

PM_TEN offers a connection between the world of academic research and the business market, from one side proposing applications of results of research, in particular the activity developed in the Environmental Physics Laboratory; and from the other side, being itself a driving force for new progresses of the methods developed in the academic context.
The main activities of the Company are related to:

weather and marine forecast
dispersion of pollutants in fluids
characterization of air pollution sources
study of eolic potential
determination of different types of pollutants (dust, radioactive isotopes, noise, non-ionizing radiation) and of their sources in environmental matrices
compositional analysis of materials including non-destructive techniques

PM_TEN srl is part of a network of laboratories and university spin-off companies with diversified and complementary skills.
PM_TEN srl is a member of TICASS consortium, legal subject officially recognized as managing body of "Energy-Environment" Regional Innovation Hub in Liguria Region.
